Mark Milliner served as IAG Australia CEO from July 2017 to December 2020. He joined IAG in April 2016 as Chief Operating Officer, bringing more than 20 years’ experience in leading and growing insurance businesses.

Prior to joining IAG, Mark held several senior roles at Suncorp, including CEO Personal Insurance, where he used his extensive insurance and organisational change management experience to lead 11 consumer brands including AAMI, GIO and Suncorp Insurance.

Before this Mark was Group Executive, Commercial Insurance responsible for all the Suncorp Group Commercial Insurance businesses operating in Australia, including the Suncorp, GIO and Vero brands, as well as the group’s Workers’ Compensation and Compulsory Third Party insurance businesses.

Mark was appointed to the board of the Insurance Council of Australia in 2009, and he is committed to increasing private and public sector investment into insurance affordability, and disaster resilience and mitigation of Australian communities.
